I have a really good tip for you. I've been reviewing a sales
trainers tips and techniques lately, and was really impressed. The
trainers name is Ari Galper, and he is one of the best kept secrets
in the sales training world. Here it is...

Sometimes, you need to use unconventional means to speak with the
key person you're trying to get a hold of.
Here's what he told me about how he has his decision makers
initiate a call to HIM.
He finds out who his decision maker is -- who has the authority to
make the final decision.
He writes him a no-pressure Unlock The Game-based letter, sometimes
between two and five pages -- sent in an overnight FedEx envelope.
And in the FedEx envelope, get this, he includes a pre-paid cell
phone that is pre-programmed with his cell phone number in it.
And in the letter he asks his decision maker to use the phone he
has from the envelope to call him by pressing the #1 in the keypad
and then pressing SEND.
Do you love that or what!
Of course these people are so blown away by the cell phone in the
letter, they call him usually the same day, and then of course he
has a heck of a conversion rate from the phone conversation to set
up a meeting.
He buys really inexpensive pre-paid phones from Wal-Mart which
makes this cost-effective and profitable.
Ideas like that, you're not going to find in a conventional sales
book.
You only get ideas like that by getting close to people who are
constantly hanging out and networking with other creative and smart
entrepreneurs.
