We have been overwhelmed with reader questions and forum posts lately,
and I hope that we've been able to help you save time and money in
keeping your cars running smoothly.

In all of the requests and responses we've been going through, this man's problem
really stands out, and I wanted to share it with our reader audience.
You know how sometimes symptoms manifest themselves in ways that
seem totally unrelated to the core problem? Like when diabetics are thirsty
all of the time, or when I went to see a rheumatologist and she asked me
if I was sleeping well at night (What did that have to do with my hip pain?)
A good doctor---and an experienced mechanic---has learned about these
idiosyncrasies that help them pinpoint and diagnose problems much faster
and more efficiently than others would be able to.
Anyway, Ron wrote to tell me about his choking/sputtering/dying car that
seemed to have gotten a dose of bad gas. And you know...I've been waiting
for this question for a couple of years now. I happen to know exactly what
is causing his problem---and I wouldn't have believed it myself the first time
I encountered it in my shop.
So click on this link to read on and find out what's going on in Ron's vehicle:

Something off topic - Does medical lawsuit abuse get you
as steamed up as it does me? The government is getting their
hands in the mesothelioma lawsuit band wagon, and it will cost
all of us. If you're interested, here's a link...
