I'm going to show you a chart today.

It shows, step-by-step, how a small group of investors turned $5,000 into $146,009.

It started on October 1, 2004 when David Gardner, co-founder of the Motley Fool, advised people to buy Netflix.

Now back in 2004, Netflix was just a small startup...

So a $1,000 Netflix investment made then would now be worth $40,228 (a 3,923% gain).

Then, on December 17, 2004, David issued a second buy recommendation...

This time turning $1,000 into $50,611 (a 4,961% gain).

By June of 2006 the value of Netflix shares had more than doubled in value (to $27.12 from $12.98 in December of 2004).

Most investors would have been happy after doubling their money.

Or even sold half their shares to "lock in their profit and play with the house's money."

But not David... he didn't think that Netflix was done going up.

So on June 16, 2006, David issued a third buy recommendation... turning $1,000 into $24,223 (a 2,322% gain).

And on September 15, 2006, David issued a fourth buy recommendation... turning $1,000 into an additional $27,918 (a 2,792% gain).

By June of 2013 the value of Netflix shares had skyrocketed to $216.89.

At that point, David's followers were up an incredible 1,328% on their investment.

Did David finally sell shares? Not a chance...

On June 16, 2013, David issued a fifth (and, so far, last) buy recommendation... turning $1,000 into $3,029.

203% gain in just two years!

Add it all up and those $1,000 investments have grown to $146,009.

So here's the most important part for you in all of this...

In just a few days David is announcing his next great stock idea.

But please note: as of right now you aren't on the event list, so you're going to miss out.

It's not too late yet, so I'm going to show you the easy steps to get on the list today.

The details are below this chart, which shows the history of David's Netflix recommendations:

As you can see, people who followed David's Netflix advice did extremely well.

But there's no need for me to cherry-pick returns here. It's as simple as this...

David's average pick in Motley Fool Stock Advisor has tripled the stock market's return for more than a decade.

And that's why The Wall Street Journal identified David's growth stock newsletter as the #1 in the world from 2008 to 2013.

Now, you can't go back to 2004 and invest in Netflix.

But you can join today and be among the first people to hear about David's newest ideas.
